Publishing on Prompt Dock earns badges: 47 of them, all awarded automatically from work you have already published. Nothing to apply for.
The three ladders
- Published: how many prompts, blog posts or skills you have live right now. A current-state count, not a lifetime tally.
- Views: the reach of everything you published in that category, summed across your whole catalogue. No single runaway hit required.
- Installs: completed skill installs. Both routes count — the CLI install command and the Download .zip button — and only once the files are actually delivered. An install that never finishes counts for nothing.
Published and views each run separately for prompts, blogs and skills; installs are skills only. Only published, public items count. Drafts, archived work and anything set to unlisted stay out of every number.
When a badge arrives
Badges are awarded by a background scan that runs on a schedule, so one lands shortly after you cross a line, not at that moment. Until then the All achievements tab marks that rung Badge pending: the work is done, the scan simply has not run yet.
You are notified the first time each badge is earned, and emailed too unless you switch the Achievements toggle off under Settings → Notifications.
Badges reconcile both ways
A published badge above the entry rung can be taken back. If your live count drops below its line and stays there for seven days, the badge is withdrawn. Republish inside that window and it is restored, with no second notification. Sending a live prompt or skill back through review does not start that clock, because it still counts as published while it waits for approval.
Views and installs badges are never withdrawn. Those counters can fall for reasons that have nothing to do with you, such as another account being deleted. Your first badge on each ladder is permanent for the same reason.
Where they show up
Settings → Achievements holds the full picture: an Earned grid, plus an All achievements tab showing how close the next rung is. Click any badge for the detail.
Your public creator profile shows only your highest badge on each ladder, so it stays a summary. That profile is not a paid feature: publish one public prompt or one blog post and it goes live. Skills alone do not unlock one yet.
