Trending ranks what the marketplace is engaging with right now. Categories is the map of the whole catalogue. Both are open on every plan.
The Trending board
Pick a metric, a window, and optionally one category. The board reranks on every change, and each card carries its rank plus the value it was ranked on.
- Most viewed — reveal traffic.
- Most used — prompts actually run in the Playground.
- Top rated — the highest average star rating.
- Most rated — the most-reviewed prompts, which is a different question from the best-reviewed.
How the ranking actually works
Rank is decided by activity inside the window first: view events, run events, or new ratings, depending on the metric. Only where that ties does the all-time counter break it. Two consequences worth knowing:
- A prompt published this morning can outrank a long-standing favorite, because a busy window beats a big lifetime total.
- The board is never empty. In a quiet category where nothing happened in the window, every entry ties at zero activity and the all-time counters decide the order instead.
Only published, public prompts are ever ranked. Premium prompts appear alongside free ones; revealing a premium body still needs Explorer or above.
The Trending page also carries Recommended for you and Featured this week, both collapsed by default. Expand either from its header.
The Categories wall
Every tile is a live category row from the catalogue, labelled with how many published prompts sit in it. Open one and you land on Browse already filtered to that category. When editors have curated any, Curated collections appears below the wall.
Browse has its own Trending sort, and it is the simpler cousin: it orders the catalogue by lifetime views. Reach for the Trending board when you want the window and the metric to be your choice.
