Who gets a page
A public profile is earned by publishing, not by plan. Yours appears as soon as you have one published public prompt, or one published blog post. Nothing to switch on, nothing to buy.
Three things have to be true, and all three are re-checked on every visit:
- You have published something public — a prompt or a blog post.
- Your account is active, not deactivated.
- You have not opted out (below).
Miss any one and the address returns "not found", never an empty shell with your name on it.
What visitors see
- Your avatar, display name, username and bio, plus your website and coffee links.
- A stats line, then tabs for Prompts, Skills and Blogs. Only the tabs you actually have work in appear at all.
- Your achievement badges — the highest rung you have reached in each ladder. See Achievements and badges.
- The Verified seal beside your name, if an admin has vouched for you.
Your email, your plan and your billing details are never on the page. Neither are drafts, archived work, or anything still in review.
The address is your username
Your page lives at promptdock.ai/u/your-username, so changing your username changes the link. Settings → Profile prints the exact address under the Username field, and links it once the page is live. The sidebar profile menu's View public profile shortcut appears for the same reason: only when the page really resolves.
Turning it off
Same place — untick "Show my public creator profile" in Settings → Profile.
Your page then returns "not found" and you stop appearing in creator search. Everything you published stays public and keeps working — the switch hides the page about you, nothing else.
Unlisted work is shareable, not listed
Marking a prompt, skill or blog post Unlisted keeps its own link working for anyone you send it to, while keeping it out of Browse, search, the sitemap and your profile. Unlisted pages also send search engines a noindex signal, so the link you share stays the only way in.
