The site says every prompt is human-reviewed, and it also shows a lime seal on a few of them. Those are two different claims, and the difference matters when you are deciding what to trust.
Review is the baseline, not a badge
Every prompt and every skill published by anyone other than an admin goes into a review queue before it reaches the catalogue. Every plan. Free and premium listings alike. First publish, and every republish after it. Nothing you can see in the marketplace skipped that step, which is exactly why it earns no badge. (Blog posts are the exception: you set a post live yourself.)
Review means a person read the listing before the public could. It is not a warranty. Read the description, run the prompt in the Playground, and judge the output before you rely on it.
The seal is the curated step beyond
The scalloped lime seal means an admin explicitly vouched for something. Where it sits tells you for what.
- Next to a listing, it reads "Verified prompt — reviewed by Prompt Dock". An admin vouched for that one prompt.
- Next to a person's name, it reads "Verified creator — vouched by Prompt Dock". An admin vouched for the creator, not for any single thing they published.
Hover or focus any seal and it names its own meaning. On a creator's public page the seal is a button that opens a short explainer.
How a creator gets one
Two things are required, and neither works alone:
- The Premium Creator plan or higher, which makes an account eligible.
- An admin vouch, granted by hand.
Subscribing never verifies you by itself, and there is no request form yet. If a verified creator later drops below that plan, billing strips the seal automatically, along with the record of who vouched and when. Coming back needs a fresh vouch.
Two things it is not
Featured is a separate admin flag. It decides what appears in the Featured strip on Browse and says nothing about verification. Premium is an access label: it means the body sits behind a subscription, not that anyone graded it.
