Every image you feed a Playground run lives in your media library: a private store you can draw from again instead of re-uploading the same screenshot for the tenth time. It is available on every plan.
Uploading
Open Media in the sidebar, then hit Upload images or drag files straight onto the grid. Each file is downscaled and re-encoded to WebP in your browser before it leaves your machine, so a phone photo usually lands well under the size ceiling on its own.
You can also upload from inside the Playground. Add images opens the same library with an upload tile built in, and anything you add there is attached to the run and kept in your library.
What fits
- Formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF.
- Per file: up to 2 MB after compression. Storage enforces this too, so an oversized file is refused at the source rather than half-uploaded.
- Library size: 100 items. At the cap the upload control switches off until you delete something.
Attaching images to a run
Attach up to 5 images to a single run. The model reads them alongside your prompt text.
Each attached image adds 2 tokens to that run on top of the base rate, so a text run carrying three images costs 11 tokens instead of 5. The Run button shows the exact total before you commit to it.
Add images stays disabled when the selected model cannot read image input. Dedicated image-generation models and video models take no attachments at all, so switch to a vision-capable text model first.
Managing what you have
Search by filename, filter by format, and sort by newest, oldest, name or size. Click any image for a detail view with its full metadata, a download, and a delete.
Deleting is permanent and removes the stored file. Past runs that used the image stay intact in History: the deleted image renders as a placeholder in its original slot, so the record never shifts under you.
Your library is private. Files sit in a private bucket and are served to you through short-lived signed links.
